Today, Oscar (a contractor) started removing the chimneys of which there are now 3. Yes, I said 3, there was a hidden one that we didn’t know about (more on that later).  So, Oscar and his partner (the signing mason) proceeded to take down one of the chimneys today while the whole family watched.  The other should have come down today too but, I haven’t confirmed it yet.
