Today we inked the contract with Scott, the GC. He reiterated that if we had not bought the house, he would have and he would not have blinked at paying $25K more than we did.
Sonny ripped down the ceiling in the Family Room. It turned out to be 10 ft high and tongue and groove. We now know that the large rectangular room on the back was really two rooms: a family room and a kitchen. We may have to rethink the layout of the rooms a bit.
We also took our outdoor furniture out there and set if under the oak trees. We would have sat there all day if there hadn’t been so much work to do.

Can’t wait until I’m there to help!
I’m sure there will be plenty for all to do. I know it is very fun seeing the changes. You’ll be surprised when you come home for spring break.
