This year for Christmas Lynn and I decided to buy a house for each other. The house, “The Fletcher Broome” house was build in 1901.
You may be asking, “What kind of shape is it in?” or “Does it need much work?” Well, it’s in great shape and yes it needs a lot of work.
Right now, the house is under contract and we are hoping to close by the end of January 2011. Wish us luck!

Since I myself love rennovating homes (having done a few) I imagine you will enjoy the project and it will turn out wonderful. The fact that you are consulting a architect and builder who have experience in rennovating older homes is definitely a good decision.
